Job Done

A solid 4-0 victory over a battling dutch side sees us into the plate semis. The dutch held out well under pressure in the first half with their GK making a few cracking saves. Eventually the pressure was too much and the dutch handed us a lead after a mix up between the GK and the full back. We got another before HT when addy finished well after malaka had a shot stopped. Second half, plenty of chances but we couldn't convert, missing a pen, hitting the bar 4 times. Finally a cross come shot from polo floated into the top corner and addy finished well on the volley to make it 4-0. The monkeys were also delighted to see long term water boy FMT back on the pitch shooting from all angles and giving lip to whoever would listen. So good to have him back. The dutch had a great chance at 0-0 but blazed over but gave us a good battle throughout. Good luck for the season. Next Up Hotspurs in the plate and league.
