In order to get out of dark tunnel, the coach tried something new. Yasutaro remained to stay in front. Kaki as central MF, Uchida left MF, Pigu in right MF and Nama as central MF. The coach expected long ball from DFs and expected Nama to cut all their passes by his header. The strategy worked well somehow and didn't work well at certain point. Generally DFs worked hard but Opponent FW Ichi (I didn't know he is a Japanese.) shredded our DF line and scored. We got one but that was only thing we could do in this game.
The monkeys got back to winning ways after a hard fought game with nippon. Nippon took a deserved first half lead after both teams had chances when they took advantage of a mix up at the back. We pulled one back before HT when a nice pass from JJ put Joel free on the right. Joel opened his account with a deflected shot which creeped in at the far post. Second half began with Nippon in possession and Aioli Monkeys looking dangerous on the break. A great steal from Joel which was squared for mark gave us the lead before another JJ assist for ichi who turned in on his right foot and finished well from outside the box put us clear. Finally a few chances converted in a very close game. Hard Luck Nippon, looking forward to the rematch. MOM JJ. A week off for us now before Hotspurs.
