Close and competitive game with both teams evenly matched. Intensity was high throughout the game. We were unlucky not to take the lead on a few occasions in the first half including a disallowed goal and some well defended chances. Credit to Latini for taking their chances in the second half to seal the win. We'll keep pushing for the rest of the season.

Saturday saw the top-of-the-table clash between 1TM and SFC which delivered another competitive encounter between the two sides. The first half was a cagey affair, with both sides struggling to create many clear-cut chances. Possession was evenly shared, and both teams had the ball in the back of the net but both efforts were judged to be off side. However, 1TM found some rhythm after the break and began to carve out promising opportunities. The breakthrough came when a cross from Dev fell into the path of recent signing, Drops. His initial shot was blocked, but the rebound fell kindly to Yuto San, who kept his composure to fire through the crowd and put 1TM ahead. 1TM nearly doubled the lead immediately when Sharples’ low cross was met by Boggy whose clean strike was met by a worldie of a save by the SFC ‘keeper who scrambled across his line and turned over the bar for a corner. The second goal did eventually come after a product of slick build-up play opened up the SFC defense, allowing Boggy to burst into the box. His pull-back found Ruby, who finished clinically to double 1TM’s advantage. 1TM continued to apply pressure and created a few more dangerous chances, but the SFC goalkeeper denied us with some outstanding saves.
