Tight first half with an even 1-1 score line at half time. Well worked goals from both sides. A poor lapse of 15 minutes at the start of second half saw Latini score 3 well taken goals with route one balls that should have been mopped up. Definitely a below par performance. Good possession but not enough positive outcomes in the final third. Credit to Latini for executing a game plan in the second half and being clinical in front of goal. Long season ahead with this just the second game of the season. We look forward to the next matchup.

1TM took on the champions, Singapore Football Club (SFC). Tactical Tally welcomed back midfield stalwarts Cow and Ruby, along with Dev, who was returning from daddy duties. The match began with 1TM making a strong start, creating several early chances. After 10 minutes, Boggy broke clear, driving into the box before cutting back to Pig, who finished clinically to put 1TM ahead. SFC responded quickly, equalizing five minutes later with a lofted cross-come-shot that sailed into the top corner. Despite creating some great first half opportunities, 1TM couldn't add to their tally. The second half saw Sharples take the ascendancy with an impressive hat-trick within 10 minutes. His goals came from excellent assists by Didge, Cow, and Pig. He capped off a brilliant individual performance with his fourth goal in the 77th minute, reacting fastest to a rebound after Boggy forced a great save from the SFC keeper.
