There's nothing to separate the three teams currently topping the Cosmo table - Gaelic, SCC and Vikings - while TGA sit right behind with three wins out of three. Gaelic kept up their early form with a 1-0 win over Latini, while SCC have followed up their draw against the Vikings with back-to-back wins, first gainst early-season flyers Gaulois and then against the Germans. Vikings bounced back from a 2-1 defeat to 10-man Casuals with a solid win over the Swiss.
At the other end of the table, Swiss are still the only team looking for a point. Hibs got off the mark with a last minute victory over Gaulois, the Germans secured their first point by holding Aioli to a draw, and Nippon notched their first points in a 7-0 win over the Swiss that saw Tetsu Kakimoto join Robert Eziakor at the top of the goal scoring charts, on four.
TGA play Friday night specialists Casuals tonight, looking to keep their 100% record and go top of the table - at least until the current leaders play on Saturday. Swiss will want to get up and running in the other Friday game against a Hostpurs side that has two wins and a coupe of losses so far.
On Saturday, Gaelic face mystery package Gaulois, who will be looking to recover from a couple of defeats after such a promising start. Aioli and Vikings look well-matched and Nippon have a history of causing SCC problems. Latini have looked strong so far, and would be top of the league if they didn't keep having goal of the season contenders scored against them. Cue their matchup in the other Saturday game with the Hibs - a team full of players capable of anything.
