The Windmill Cup played last weekend gave teams their first chance to size each up before the Cosmo League kicks off. Olympic Gaulois won the open tournament, beating  TGA Rangers in the final and drawing some attention with their recent recruits. TGA could still celebrate though, seeing off the Vikings in the senior final. SCC took home the plate, with Vikings again missing out.

As usual the 7-a-side tournament was hosted excellently by the Dutch Club. DJ entertainment and flowing beers helped to make it a great day out even for the teams hoping they're more suited to a big pitch. 

The league begins tonight, with Aioli Monkeys and Gaelic Lions playing the season opener under the Friday night lights. Good luck to all the teams for the new season.
