Vibrant Vikings Victorious at UWC

Another entertaining week with 37 goals in 6 games started with Vikings securing a strong win at UWC turning around a 0-1 deficit to a 7-1 with Thomas Sorensen, Jesper Nielsen and Leslie Andersen all scoring 2. On Turf City the clash of 1 & 2 from last season saw SCC securing a 4-1 win, in a game where TGA played 60+ minutes with 10 min after an early red card.  The win sees SCC go top of the table.

On Saturday the German Allstars continue their good run of form and made it 6 from 8 after beating Hibs 4-1 at the PSA courtesy amongst others a brace from Captain Klem. Elsewhere Hotspurs secured back to back wins with a good effort and 4-1 win against Nippon. The Gaulois Coach had decided to re-shuffle the lineup to get back to winning ways - and the gamble paid off with a good 4-1 against Gaelic Lions. Last but not least Latinin and Swiss had a 9 goal thriller that in the end saw Latini winning 5-4 with the younger Townsend brother (Luke) scoring a hattrick.

Only 4 games on the schedule for the coming weekend but with some back ties as 1st spot SCC welcome 3rd spot German Allstars to Dempsey. Vikings and Latini both come with goal scoring optimism and good results in what looks to be an entertaining affair on Turf City. TGA and Swiss are looking to bounce back from defeats while both Gaulois and Hotspurs will be looking for the 3 points when they square off also on Turf City.
