Contrasted victory

Always a pleasure to play against our Swiss friends. Some players missing but still a strong squad to start the game. We perfectly managed the first 30min scoring 3 nice goals by the françois duo and Lionel. Behind our defense was solid and we had full control of the game. Somehow we slowly went back in the drawback that cost us so many points this season. The second half score (3-3) reflects this as we started to be a bit dislocated and conceded too many goals. Fortunately Sam math and Hugo showed great finishing skills to avoid disappointment. A mix of positive and negative then but a victory still! MOM Nourdine for a good effort both offensively and defensively! MOM Swiss goes to their number 11 winger who was always a danger. Thanks Swiss for the game and looking forward playing you again !!

Swiss vs OG 3-6

The Swiss slide to the bottom of the table; a far contrast from the glory days of the 90's. Another week, another defeat..... Scoring 9 goals in the last 3 games, certainly is not the form of a team at the bottom, but conceding double that amount, certainly is. In previous weeks we felt we deserved something from the games, this time, we lost the game in the first 30 mins - going 0-3 down. The 3rd goal was suspected to be offside but it doesn't really matter now. Any discussion/ motivation of a comeback in the second half quickly evaporated after another calamity at the back made it 0-4: and almost surely game over. Some nice play/ combinations and individual skill by the Swiss offensive line saw us scoring 3 goals (Adam, Alex, Joel). Despite of all this, and with stark contrast from last season, team spirit is high (epitomized by the large after-game-drinks turnout), we definitely feel that 3 points are around the corner. We are no worse than other teams and at times keep possession well. We need to be more composed when we have the ball, play safe, and close the gap between defense & midfield. OG definitely exploited us to maximum impact. We score goals, not by "accident" but need to cut out mistakes at the back, perhaps abit of luck (including with Injuries) once in a while would be nice.... 6 pointer up next against Nippon. We'll be ready !
