Only a game of football but then we wouldn't be anything without each other. The Cosmo league is community run, for the community, and thanks to Brad and Rob and the refs, Francois and OGS for sharing the one minute silence to mark the passing of the AIS student this week. Meant a lot to those with connections throughout club. Got a squad out...just...but we all know we can't play 3pmers competitively for 90 minutes if down to 12 for most of the game. Up stepped Himself, coronation chicken, half-n-half, Stephen Swords to run the show. From what I can piece together, OGS scored each quarter. Broke an offside trap, passing round at the back, passing round at the back and a break away from a corner. Chris Leighton came close a few times, Chris Keay picked up the coveted vote for missing from four yards and Ronan bagged one from a Smiithie corner and our young debutant Chris Fox picked up a bad knee injury. Ah well, one game to go and a few beers agaisnt the marauding Vikings next week. Until next season OGS
