No temperature for good football

Likely over 35degrees throughout the game made it very difficult to play decent football We started quite well but rushed our actions and saw the Spurs benefitting from big space in the middle to control the ball. During water break we insisted on letting the team time to remain compact and stop cutting off midfield passes. This slowed down our game but allowed Dani to have us take the lead, nicely finishing off a nice pass from Inaki. 1-0 at half time with very few occasions conceded, our back four perfectly managing behind. Second half was tense. We started sleeping which gave hopes to the spurs who despite good control of the ball could not create real danger. Neither could we until water break. At 1-0 with 25min to play the game could have gone both ways. Spurs had 1-2 clear chances and Anatole saw two massive occasion successively stopped by a defender on the line and by the post. Final whistle came as a relief. MOM on our side to Daniel rewarding a great overall performance with a broken toe! It could have gone down o any of our back four as well. Thanks to the Hotspurs for this competitive game and good luck for the remaining games ! Thanks also to Quentin and the referee trio who had a good game
