A turbulent match

The game started in a little slow pace. As usual, Nippon's strategy was to control the ball, use the field widely and leverage short passes to find the air pocket. This worked fairly well the first half and the game looked easy when Nippon scored 3 consecutive goals in the first 40 minutes. However, Gaelic came back to the pitch so focused in the second half and they got 2 goals in 20 minutes. With only 1 goal to go, Gaelic put all their efforts to put pressure on us and creating threats. One of the memorable moments of this game happened in the 32nd minute when Takuya received a long feed with a brilliant control and delivered a feather touch last pass to Seiji who only had to gently put it into the empty goal. 4-2. However, Gaelic never gave up and they continued their efforts. 4 minutes after Nippon's goal, they squeezed in their 3rd goal. 4-3. With only 10 minutes left, Nippon decided to put all their efforts to kill time. They used their good technique to possess the ball as close as possible to Gaelic's goal which worked well. Thanks to the great last minute efforts, the eleven managed to shut out Gaelic and celebrated their victory... Thank you Gaelic and the ref team for the clean and exciting game.
