Vikings were once again a far shy from the team that looked so strong in the build up to the season. Finding themselves 3-0 down in the first 20 min didn't do much for confidence and ultimately individual mistake once again cost us. Hibs completely deserved their win and we wish them well for the rest of the season.
Hibs continued their scoring form with 5 under the lights while conceding 2 in reply. After a quick hearing test for Joey, it was a quick start by Hibs with Thorin supplying one of his three assists in the first 45 minutes before he had to dash off for his DJ slot. MoM Vasco got a couple as he continued his excellent start to the season and Vikings found it difficult to stop the chances coming. Will made his first appearance of the season and scored a well-taken goal from the edge of the box to make it 3-0 mid-way through the first half. Vikings searched for a reply with diagonal balls and the willing runner, Truelsen did brilliantly to turn a misjudgment into an excellent finish. Vish had no chance for that one and he was largely untroubled in the game. Sergio capitalised on a mistake to score a fourth before the half and the Vikings keeper was excellent. Bolts won himself a penalty and scored it himself to get off the mark for the season and make it 5 and Vikings got a late penalty to get Mele his goal after a quiet night for him. All the best to Vikings for the rest of the season.
