With 9 players out of this game, the week was spent working on aligning a competitive team to challenge the league leader. After a sloppy start the team showed a great fighting stp prevent SFC from creating opportunity. Midfield battle was intense with Ewan, Julien, Francois and Hugo running like dogs and Xexu allowing us to take some breath upfront. JB great long shot even allowed us to be upfront after 30min. Behind Momo, math inaki Santi and Ivan made everything possible to block SFC attacks. Again we got penalised on our weakness though with a second ball goal and SFC managed to take the lead just before half time. We continue to resist for the first 20min of the game with Xexu even hitting the bar at 2-1 and Pierre swing his shot 50cm wide. Despite putting fresh max and Leo in the team, the team was totally exhausted in the last 20min with injuries kicking in and SFC sealed the game with a succession of attacks and goals. It’s a tough results which does not show the fight our team put on for 75% of the game but we shall capitalise on this for the coming games Well done to SFC and to the ref who managed this intense game well
