Hibs notched a comprehensive win at UWC on Friday night against Casuals with five different scorers. Casuals were a bit more threatening than Hibs early on as they worked Rohan in goal acouple of times and he did brilliantly to bravely keep one effort out. Hibs took the lead though through a Joey corner that wasn't a corner and Steven got his first for the club heading in on the goal line. That settled Hibs and the chances started to come as they opened up Casuals a few times. Dan put Julio through on goal but he was fortunate his shot rebounded straight to him off the post and he was left with a tap in. Right on half time Dan played in An Rui who scored to maintain his scoring form of late for 3-0. Buffy scored the fourth after good work from An Rui as Hibs threatened to really cash in. Buffy played a wonderful pass for Dan to get in to score the 5th as everything seemed to be clicking and the players were enjoying themselves. Rohan had to save well on a couple of occasions as Casuals rallied, but this was good perfomance and we now look forward to next week's Plate Semi-Final against the champions elect. MoM for Hibs was Steven for an assured performance and a goal. For Casuals, it was their striker whose movement was good.
