Always a good game and the excitement in the air was palpable, you could feel the energy from the fan(s). Appeared the french didnt share our excitement and even with an 815 KO they could only summon 10 players alas being the great sports we are we delayed KO for 10mins for the french to rally the troops. We welcomed back Razor from suspension, sexy Andy from injury and Will the Octopus got his second hall pass in 3 years to form a strong squad. once the game finally started, after waiting like good sportsmen, the pace was frantic but we were well in control. Tough tackling, fair but tough, were the order of the day and it upset any rhythm the french wanted. The boys in the middle were dominating, Razor, Ex Palace GK, Benjamin Buttons and our very own Yakuza were comfortable at the back dealing with the hopeful long balls with ease. Damn it. French scored. The equalizer was nothing short of brilliant, Razor won his challenge, Joe picked up the lose ball and sexy Andy played a delicate yet delightful forceful attacking ball to Monster Thighs who played in 'half price ribs' Dyne who squared back to Joe, who doesn't have a harsh nickname coz he scores our goals, for 1-1. With half time approaching the french were starting to lose control of their emotions, we are all use to the constant complaining and play acting but the centre mid topped it with a solid sunday league comment "ill have you after the gamer" but in a kinda sexy french accent...LOL. HT and we knew the game was done, our focus was winning not whining and this allowed us to put further pressure on in the second half. Sherwingz was delightful at the back and with every tackle won his positive comments of "sexy" encouraged everyone. The centre mid was still telling anyone that cared that he would "see them after the game".....LOL and with his focus clearly not on the game it was his mistake that was punished when half price ribs played through to beefcake Jacko whose deflected effort fell to Joe, no nickname, to finish 2-1. Subs made, our very own Tom Clancy came on and made an instant impact squaring to Joe for his 3rd! Poo Bob, Thai boy, Josh "im not Chinese so dont celebrate CNY" and Mark Teh nickname TBC all came on made impacts across the park. goal by france. 3-2. Casuals finished the game with ease it what was a comfortable victory. outstanding performances across the park, Benjamin Buttons was solid, half price ribs was like an action man but Joe gets MOM....cos he scores our goals. MOM French: the centre mid who scored but more so for his sunday league comment...who wasnt anywhere to be seen after the game LOL. stop it! Ref watch: did well, controlled the game and spot on with most decisions.
