This was the third attempt to play this particular fixture - having been thwarted by bad light and rain on the first two occasions - and both sides will be happy at least that things were finally drawn to a conclusion. Hotspurs will be slightly less happy of course, having lost 3-1 on the day, but they gave a spirited showing of themselves against a good SCC side who had slightly too much attacking quality in the end, and who were ultimately deserving winners over the three legs. Well played SCC, and good luck in the Cup. We at Hotspurs are looking forward to smashing the Plate in the meantime.
