Casuals 2-0 up at Half Time, composed on the ball and defended well. Nick V with a double. Casuals knew the 2nd half would be tough with having a squad of 11 and no subs. Nippon adjusted their formation to 4-2-4 and attacked with pace. Casuals struggled to play the ball out from defense with all defenders under pressure from the get go. Japanese finished well and ended up winning the game 4-2. The second time they have come from behind this year against the Casuals. Evident signs of tired legs throughout the Casuals team after a long season. Fitness needs to improve if we are going to climb up the table next year. Hats off to the lads part of the core squad winning 7 games since Christmas. 58% Win record from the turn of the year isn’t a bad stat. 16% before the fat bearded man turned up really killed us pushing up the league this year. See you all in August when the league starts again.
This game was important for us, FCNippon to make the rank better, because we were 1point behind the Casuals. But in the first half, FCNippon missed their plenty of big chances during Casuals made 2goals by high concentration. Casuals netted the rebound for the first goal, and in few minutes they netted the loose ball as a second. What changed the game in the second half was FCNippons substitutes and hard work, ball possession. FCNippon staged a comeback with their first goal by Nanai. Then the FCNippons striker, Kakimoto, made a great 2goals by his well controled shots and turned the game around. Casuals had some counterattack chances, but there were defended by FCNippons hardwork. At the last, this days lucky boy, Nanai scored for the second time and made the final score 4-2.
