Fair play top of the league clash

A clash of the two team leading the fair play table. Dont get it wrong, despite the no cards on the board the "football game" was nasty once more and it seems that the Nippon was the strongest at that game. Very unpleasant afternoon with them once more. Game started surprising well for us with 2 massive goal opening chance that we missed. Nippon open the scoreline against the ran of play from a free kick that magically went through the wall, and double their lead a few minutes later from a passive mistake at the back. Rest of the game was just about late challenges or flying elbows which they kept doing for 90min since no cards were out. Despite that we had another brace of chance to reduce the score line but did not convert. Second half was another even story. We manage to got 1 back from a nice header from Hugo into the top corner but then the turning point of the game was the clear missed challenge from the defender 2m inside the box. Alex took his time and finally blow the whistle, but decided to move the fault outside the box. So we went from a clear penalty to a uncentered free kick. Nippon then scored another one from a free kick. We pushed and came back to 3-2 from a corner thanks to Remy (le bon). We tried to pushed but Nippon scored 2 goals in the dying minute to secure their rugby game by KO. Glad the game is over with no massive injuries. Very difficult season from OG that is clearly in need of a break to re-focus, and get some strength back. Congrats to SCC for the title and to the Gaelic for challenging then as long as they could. And good luck to SCC and Rangers in the cup final.

Victory dedicated to Kei

This game was the last game of kei yamaguchi who has been active in FC Nippon for 4 years. We gave OG two definitive opportunities early in the first half, but we were able to protect the goal. 1-0 The first goal was Piglet's honey shoot.from a free kick. 2-0 The second point was Kaki scored from the pass of Pigret with Kei as the starting point. 2nd half 2-1 A great heading shoot of OG entered the corner of the goal so much that even our excellent GK could not move even one step. 3-1 Even then again a free kick, this time the most intense man in FC Nippon hit the post with the same trajectory as the first point, and Kaki got the goal after the rebounding ball. 3-2 From the left side corner kick, OG got goal again with a powerful head. 4-2 Minato got the goal from Yasu's nice pass. 5-2 Kaki scored a hat-trick with wonderful dribble.
