A hot day at turf city for this mid table clash between Aioli and Singapore Vikings. Vikings were in lack of a few key players from last week win against Hotspurs, and whether it was the heat or lack of creative brains in 1st half is hard to say, but Vikings weren’t actually on the pitch the 1st half. Aioli took the lead when ball was lost in defensive midfield, and while whistle was blown at Turf city and some players stopped to play it unfortunately wasn’t on our pitch the whistle sounded and Aioli took the lead quite easy. On a few more occasions Aioli looked more fresh and had a few more chances to make it 2-0. Anyway the halftime helped the Vikings spirit and a totally changed team went on the pitch for 2nd half. Aioli still had a few chances within the 1st 15 min, but Vikings slowly took over and worked their way into the game, and with two mini Moeller finish on the crossbar we could have gotten away with one point. Vikings kept pushing and a few long throws from Dragon almost made it dangerous. Anyhow the ball didn’t want to pass the goal line. Seen over the full match it was prob a fair result with 1-0 for Aioli, and we thank our opponent for a fair game played in the heat and thanks to refs team as well who did well on the day. Bad luck chaps but heads up and we bring along the last 30 min with us for next game. Mom went to Panda for continues fight in defence – well done mate.
