Back to back defeats either side of Xmas had destroyed any faint title hopes for 1TM-Latini, but the imaginary race for Champions League spots still well up for grabs so we were buzzing to get back on track vs Nippon Sat. Tally made a few small changes, TARD thrown a start after making an impressive impact off the bench vs OG (he must have anticipated this as the TARD fan club came along to watch.) Pep was pushed into midfield to accommodate for the returning CFD. Jan loan signing Twitch found a place on the bench. An impressive 1st 30mins for 1TM-Latini saw us dominate the ball and chances. CFD had a cracker disallowed as his Wardrobe partner was offside in the buildup. We then took a deserved lead when Rory A latched onto a delumptious (Definition: being a mix of delicious and scrumptious) through ball from Lego and produced a redonkulous (Definition: significantly more absurd than ridiculous) finish by lobbing the keeper from outside the box. 1-0. Things then turned south for 1TM-Latini, Nippon upped their game a touch and created a few openings, POB kept them at bay with a blinding point blank save….. However 2mins later they made it 1-1 from a neat passage of play. 1-1. With all things level we gave Nippons a numerical advantage by going down to 10men before the half as Scoop was issued a harsh straight red after pushing/bullying the oppo in the box. Bad scoop. HT 1-1. A man down against Nippon under 4pm Turf City cauldron heat is never ideal. But Tally brought some fresh legs on in Tomo, and with further ‘impact players’ waiting in the wings like Raver and Twitch we knew we stood a chance. We stayed compact and narrow and defended well, Baker and Lego shouted a lot, POB kicked the ball really far a few times and then…. With 15mins to play Rory A picked the ball up centrally and dribbled for an age to the edge of the 6 yard box before dispatching to give us a 2-1 lead. A third came shortly after when Twitch ‘swooped’ in on a CFD knockdown and ‘nestled’ the ball into the back of the net and ‘flew’ off in celebration. FT 3-1. Great bouncebackability (definition: The ability to bounce back) shown after last week’s dismal defeat. Top team effort alround. Thanks for resident cameraman Nick A and TARD fanclub for coming to support. Thanks Nippon for the game and all the best for the season run in. Casuals up next under the FNL’s. MOM 1TM-Latini – Rory for a match winning brace. MOM OG –#7. DOTD – TARD the specialist long thrower…. Who can’t take a correct throw in. KIT – Scoop BALLS – Raver
After two games in the nightmarish Dempsey,we aimed for victory Latini at the pitch of turf. Of course the pitch condition was good and the weather was fine. We confirmed that we will be able to do our organized defense and aggressive attack before the game. However,we lost in competition and score was 1-3. 1st half:1-1 Latini was both powerful for attack and defense. We made many mistake and could not carry the ball forward around 25 minutes. 27 : Our movement improved after the water break, but Lattini scored in just two touch the ball from our missed pass. 40 : Tachibana made a goal from Minato→kaneko's pass. At the end of the first half Latini got a red card by the elbow strike? in the box. 2nd half:0-2 Lattini became 10 players,we got more time to attack but couldn't get goal even if we shot. 58 : we decide to change Yasutaro with Kakimoto. Kakimoto broke through the right side with an amazing dribble and made lot of chance but we could'n't get goal. After the water break to make attack more agressive and fresh,Muraki and Uchida were changed to Kan and Daiku. 80 : Latini broke down our left side and scored by one player. 85 : we have finally allowed a goal with a strong attack. Thank you to Latini for a well fought match, and thank you for everyone on the sideline for support.
