The Hibs love affair with the plate will resume this season, after our uncomfortable dalliance in the cup last year. It took an incredible performance to get us there, dominating possession and removing most of the paint from the Golf Club End woodwork, but only managing to score one well-taken goal by Andrew and getting caught too easily on the break by the British Club's quick wingers and very good centre forward. It's unlikely we'll be trying a diamond formation again any time soon, but the main thing is we need to be better in both final thirds if we're going to get this season going in time for a plate run.
