Weird result

Swiss came into the game with mixed feelings - on one hand it is nice to distract ourselves from the league but at the same time knew that a break would have been better: not only are we still scrambling a team together every week, but we seem to attract injuries - thats not ideal. We started very badly, rather chaotic and a gift gave Hollandse the lead within 3 mins. I will not describe the details but was a very generous gift. It was a patchy game with both sides struggling to hold on to the ball in midfield. We had a strong spell in the beginning of the 2nd half, and duly got awarded a penalty after JoSpeed was brought down. Joel converted 1-1. Hakim got his marching orders soon after for second yellow card. Finished 1-1 and despite playing with 10 men, the game was quite even up until 120 mins. Joe made a nice save during the Penalty shootouts whilst Swiss converted all 5 pens to progress. Sad way to lose for sure, we wish the Dutch all the best, and hope we see each other soon, on or off the pitch. For us, the end of the season probably couldn't come sooner. Another difficult few months ahead for sure but hopefully we can get a couple of points more ....
