Passionate start to the game with both sides eager to grab a hold of the game. Some clever moments of play gave SCC a 2-0 lead at half-time. Second half saw a dominant display from SCC creating countless chances, scoring another few goals and keeping a well deserved clean sheet. Cheers to Latini, all the best for the rest of the season.
Being a Spurs Fan I watched Spurs versus Millwall last night and it was interesting (well not really that interesting at all) to see a 6 v 0 score line. This is a score line Latini unfortunately are becoming accustomed to just lately. On the back of a hammering last week, there is no better game than to take on the league leaders again in their own back yard. It was a tight competitive first half and Latini missed a couple of excellent chances to get their noses in front. This proved to be very costly, given SCC took full advantage by scoring a nice Hutch header straight afterwards with a swift quick counter attack. Big body blow landed. The second body blow came in the 45th minute – another goal just before the half time whistle. At half time Latini felt that a 2 v 0 reverse was harsh reward given the efforst and quality of play. In the second half SCC found another gear and indeed ran out deserved winners with some more well worked goals. Congratulations to them – they will take some topping this season in their quest to win back the title. Latini need to dust themselves off and get back on track next week versus Hotspurs. MOM was POB in goal for a couple worldies and a decent great penalty save. Thanks to SCC for the game. MOM Latini – POB MOM Scc – Kiki
