Into the Cup Semi Final!

After couple of postponement, Gaulois was finally able to play his last Cup game against Hibs. We lost the two League games against this tenacious opponent despite playing well for half of the game and falling down in the 2nd half. We had a competitive squad despite playing Wednesday night. We started the game strong and scored after 10min following a nice display from the team (1-0 GSC). We had the control of the ball and midfield, and had the opportunity to score the 2nd. Yet, on a good cross and a good header, Hibs equalized (1-1 Hibs). We pushed a bit more, and gave everything to score the 2nd before HT through Paul (2-1 GSC). 2nd half we did not control as well as first half and Hibs became more dangerous... a deja vu feeling. After couple of opportunities, Hibs equalized again (2-2 Hibs). Yet, we pushed again and score shortly after on a corner (3-2 GSC). End of the game was tense but no goal was scored. Thanks Hibs for the game! And good luck to the squad against SFC.
