Dominant First Half Sets the Stage for another 3 Points

Hibs ran out 4-0 winners against Hotspurs, with all four goals coming in a blistering first half. Hibs put on a dominant display, with Liam at the heart of everything. It was his emphatic side-footed volley from Sam L's cross that set the tone and opened the scoring, the tight angle not deterring him as he smashed it in off the far post. Sam L was at the heart of the action again soon after, With Hibs hassling the Hotspurs defense into a mistake and Sam's wall pass setting up Will for Hibs’ second. Will surprised everyone (including himself) by faking a shot with his left and dragging it onto his right, before finishing into the corner. Hibs third was a thing of beauty; precise one-touch passing in the centre of the park, with Will's lifted ball finding Liam making the third-man run. He bullied the defender, before dinking the ball over the keeper and into an empty net for his second of the match. The scoring was wrapped up before halftime when Sam L got on the scoresheet himself, finishing after a bit of mayhem in the box following a corner from Will. With the job done in the first half, Hibs controlled the tempo after the break, seeing out the win to secure another vital three points. Cheers to Hotspurs and best of luck for the rest of the season.
