Report

SFC weathered an anticipated 20 minute, first half storm and were unlucky to go in at half time 1-0 down. Keo, Rocky and Liam all having plenty of the ball in the final third, only to be denied by an inform Vikings goalkeeper on numerous occasions. To give credit where credit is due, Vikings scored a very good goal 5 minutes before half time. A well clipped ball by Tomas found their right winger who delivered a great cross for Joe Wright to neatly finish on the half volley. Half Time SFC 0 Vikings 1 SFC's second half was excellent; scoring within 1 minute of the restart. Joe Claridge lofting a free kick in to the box and Fazrul reacting first to score from a yard out. SFC 1 Vikings 1. Having rejigged midfield Sam, Tom and Joe then took control of the game in the centre. On the hour mark Anthony Garreau played out from the back to Tom McElligott (pre assist) who then found Fazrul in space on the left. A perfectly weighted ball from Faz through to Liam was then dispatched to make it 2-1. Ten minutes later SFC got their third. Joe Claridge getting on the end of Soshi cross having started the move from the right. Full Time: SFC 3 Vikings 1. Thank you to Vikings for a well contested battle. Best of luck for the remainder of your season. Anthony Garreau was superb once again at the back and Liam Shotton was a threat all afternoon, but SFC's MOM goes to Joe Claridge. Well done to all involved.

Not to be

Another game in which we play great football for 45 minutes, 1 up at half time and could have been more but again this week we fail to convert our chances and again this week we get punished... Congrats to a clinical SFC side... On to the next one.
